Privacy policy

In short

This site sets no cookies, loads no measurement script and stores nothing in your browser. There is nothing here you could consent to, which is why there is no consent banner either. The destination sites we link to do have one, because they embed a measurement script from GetYourGuide.

Hosting

The site runs on our own server at Hetzner Online GmbH in Nuremberg, Germany, with Cloudflare, Inc. in front of it for DNS, encryption and protection against attacks. When you open a page, the web server records technical access data (IP address, time of request, requested address, browser and operating system, referring page) in order to deliver the site securely and to detect attacks (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). These logs are rotated automatically and are not merged with anything else.

Cloudflare is a US company and processes the traffic on the way to us; it relies on EU standard contractual clauses for this.

No measurement, no cookies

We use no analytics service, no advertising cookies and no visitor identifier, and we build no user profiles. Nothing is written to your browser's local or session storage. How many people read a page is something we take from the server log, not from a script running on your device.

This site carries no affiliate links. It links to the four sites we operate, and those sites are financed through commission from GetYourGuide and Discover Cars.

If you follow a link from here and then book there, that partner sets its own cookies and processes your data under its own privacy policy — we have no access to your booking data, your name or your payment details. A link on its own stores nothing; processing begins only when you click.

Your rights
