About us

One operator, four destinations

Tours Finder and the four destination sites linked from here belong to Publishing Today LLC, run by Markus Kober. That is not a footnote, it is the reason this site exists: anyone running several travel sites without saying so looks like someone with something to hide. We would rather say it in one place where everybody can find it.

These are the four: Portimão Tours, Lagos Tours, Albufeira Tours and Funchal Tours. The full company details are in the imprint, and the same contact address applies to every site: contact@tours-finder.com.

How we earn money

Through commission. If someone books a tour with GetYourGuide or a hire car with Discover Cars on one of the destination sites, we receive a share — with GetYourGuide usually around 8 per cent of the booking value, with Discover Cars a share of the broker's profit rather than of the rental price.

It costs you nothing. The price is the same as going straight to the provider. We cannot see it, influence it or increase it.

There are no such links on this site. It points to the destination sites and earns nothing itself.

Why separate sites rather than one big one

Because a site about Portimão has to answer something different from a site about Madeira. If you are standing in Lagos wondering whether the trip to Benagil is worth it, a portal covering all of Portugal serves you worse than a site that knows only this coast: its own categories, its own stock, its own prices, and articles about the coves and boats of that one place.

The price of that is several domains — and that nobody looking from outside can tell they belong together. Which is why this site exists. From here there is a way to every single one.

How the articles are written

Every figure in an article comes from the measured stock of the site it appears on: number of offers, lowest price, median, number of reviews. None of them is estimated, and none is carried over from another town.

Part of that is naming the drawbacks. Since 2024, motorboats may stay inside Benagil Cave for two minutes and kayak groups for eight — anyone expecting an afternoon on the cave beach comes back disappointed. That is on our sites because it is true, not despite the bookings it costs.

Two things we deliberately do not do. We do not state a minimum age we cannot evidence — where operators set different limits, we write exactly that and point to the booking page. And we do not assert accessibility on our own account: we repeat only what the operator states, always with the advice to have it confirmed beforehand. Anyone who reads that a boat takes wheelchairs and then finds themselves stuck on the quay has not run into a ranking error.

Contact

contact@tours-finder.com — one address for every site. If you find a mistake, doubt a figure or want something corrected, write here. We would rather correct it than be right.

Bookings do not go through us. We are not a tour operator and not a booking platform; the contract is concluded between you, GetYourGuide or Discover Cars, and the local operator. Cancellations and refunds therefore go to them, not to us.
